TMK showcases solutions for Central Asia’s oil and gas sector at INNOPROM in Tashkent

TMK is participating in the International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM. Central Asia, taking place from April 25 to 27 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event aims to promote international cooperation in the region, and TMK is using this trade fair to show off its solutions for the oil and gas sector.

The bulk of TMK’s display is digital. The Company is showcasing oil country tubular goods (OCTG), including those with premium threaded connections, as well as products for the mechanical engineering, construction and other industries. The fair’s visitors and guests can also get a glimpse of promising solutions offered by TMK along with a set of related services.

At the forum, the Company is also demonstrating its capabilities to implement gas transportation infrastructure projects and presenting integrated engineering solutions to develop hydrocarbon deposits.

TMK has shown its products to Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations – Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, and Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation as the two top officials were taking a walking tour of the fair.

Alexander Gerasko, TMK’s Global Sales Director, said: “The CIS market is a priority export destination for TMK products. Over the past three years, TMK supplied 380 thousand tonnes of pipe to Uzbekistan, which are used to develop the country’s energy sector and other manufacturing industries. We intend to expand our cooperation with partners and boost our presence in the regional market, including to meet the needs of the oil and gas sector and support the modernization of Uzbekistan’s gas transmission system.”

The INNOPROM. Central Asia trade fair is held in Tashkent for the second year running. This year’s event is expected to attract over 200 exhibitors. TMK’s display is featured in Pavilion 2, Booth 2B3.
