TMK and Ural Federal University will jointly train employees for TMK-Sinara Business Service Center

TMK and the Graduate School of Economics and Management of Ural Federal University (GSEM) will jointly train employees for the Business Service Center in Yekaterinburg, which is responsible for administrative functions of TMK and Sinara Group enterprises. The respective agreement has been signed at the INNOPROM-2021 international trade fair in Yekaterinburg by Elena Pozolotina, TMK’s Deputy CEO for Human Resources – Director of TMK2U Corporate University, Dmitry Tolmachev, Head of GSEM, and Denis Shipitsyn, CEO of TMK-Sinara Business Service Center (TMK-Sinara BSC).

The signing took place in the presence of Igor Korytko, CEO of TMK, and Victor Koksharov, Rector of Ural Federal University.

The parties have agreed to cooperate in training core personnel to support the Center’s operations. The indefinite agreement provides for apprenticeships for GSEM students at the Center, events to develop their professional competencies and improve the quality of training of GSEM students and employees, guidance and methodology support for relevant educational programs and projects, as well as BSC’s and TMK’s support to students in preparing term papers and theses.

“TMK actively cooperates with educational institutions: together, we develop training programs, set up training grounds at our enterprises and offer apprenticeships so that graduates come to work with us motivated and prepared. These efforts are supervised by TMK2U Corporate University. Our closest partner is Ural Federal University, the main university for our Ural enterprises. The new cooperation agreement expands the range of our joint educational programs. GSEM will help to staff TMK-Sinara Business Service Center, which incorporates the competencies of both companies and global best practices in such aspects as finance, accounting, HR management, and legal support,” said Igor Korytko.

“Ural Federal University is committed to systematic practice-oriented education, so we especially appreciate the opportunity to have the university’s educational programs externally audited by TMK and Sinara Group experts. We adjust the content of our courses based on employers’ recommendations, which allows students to obtain competencies that are most demanded in the market,” said Victor Koksharov, Rector of Ural Federal University.

“TMK-Sinara Business Service Center opened in Yekaterinburg in April 2021. It services about 70 organizations with more than 80 thousand employees. The Center was set up to free enterprises from routine auxiliary business processes, such as accounting, finance, HR management, and legal support, and gather them in a single responsibility center. By unifying and standardizing procedures, applying best practices and streamlining document management, we significantly enhance the efficiency of administrative services, which will have a positive impact on TMK’s and Sinara Group’s operations as well,” said Denis Shipitsyn.
