Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a part of ТМК, has confirmed the conformity of quality management system to Q1 specification requirements of the American institute of oil (American Petroleum Institute, API).
On results of audit there was confirmed the plant capacities to produce goods on PSL 2 requirements level, according to API Spec. 5CT 8-th editions specification which became effective in 2006, and API Spec. 5L 43-rd editions specification. By the results of work auditors directed to the American institute of oil a recommendation to prolong the certificate of conformity to API standards for Volzhsky Pipe Plant for the following 3 years.
In 2006 all TMK undertakings - Taganrog Metallurgical Works, Sinarsky Pipe Works, Seversky Tube Works and Volzhsky Pipe Plant passed audit on conformity to API specifications requirements. Taganrog Metallurgical Works confirmed the highest requirement level to PSL 3 production according to API 5.TMK gets approval for amending terms of $500 million Eurobonds
