New site for non-destructive control methods opened at Volzhsky Pipe Plant

A machine complex of ultrasound defectoscopy made by the company Nordinkraft has been installed at pipe-rolling production unit №1 of the Volzhsky Pipe Plant. The installation of the ultrasound complex is intended to control the quality of pipes of diameter 57-245 mm along their entire length. The total volume of investments in the creation of the complex amounted to around $3m.

The given installation has a high rate of productivity and completely eliminates mistakes associated with the human factor. The equipment guarantees a control level that corresponds to the requirements of API and TUV international standards.
