ТМК’s experts to supervise running casing into wells off the coast of Sakhalin

TMK NGS-Buzuluk, which is part of TMK Oilfield Services based in Buzuluk, the Orenburg Region, has won a tender to provide technology and engineering supervision services for running casing for OOO Gazprom Geologorazvedka.

In June–September 2016, TMK’s experts will supervise running casing into two prospecting and appraisal wells off the coast of Sakhalin Island, in the Sea of Okhotsk. TMK’s products to be used in running casing include casing pipes with ТМК UP CWB and ТМК UP PF premium threaded connections. The scope of services to be provided by supervisors includes advising the team of the customer, attending acceptance inspections of pipes, oversight of compliance with process requirements, supervision of thread coupling, and quality control.
