TMK took part in the “Caspian Oil & Gas 2010” Exhibition and Conference

The 17th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, the largest event in oil industry in the Caspian region took place in Baku (Azerbaijan) from June 1 through June 4. The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev took part in the commencement meeting of the exhibition.

During many years the exhibition “Caspian Oil & Gas” assembles at one place leading experts and participants of the regional oil-and-gas market. 280 companies from 26 countries took part in the event in 2010. More than 40 % of the exhibition area was occupied by the world famous companies, the majority from which are permanent participants of the “Caspian Oil and Gas”. Among them: BP, Itochu, OMV, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, Statoil, Total, TPAO and many others.

The exhibition and conference « Oil and Gas 2010 » gave an opportunity to a wide community of specialists, scientists and engineers to become acquainted with the last achievements of world manufacturers in the area of oil and gas production, transportations and processings of oil products, with the newest equipment and technologies for the oil and gas industry, presented by developers from all over the world as well as to carry out useful discussions and opinion exchanges.

TMK employees from marketing and sales departments of the Company, as well as employees from TMK Representative office in Baku had a number of meetings and negotiations with consumers of the pipes which were directed at the promotion of ТМК pipe products in the market of Azerbaijan. The scale of the tasks of development of the significant stocks of hydrocarbons in the Azerbaijan Republic opens ample opportunities for development of cooperation between ТМК and oil-and-gas complex of Azerbaijan.
