TMK took part in the international exhibition “Oil & Gas Libya 2010”

From March 8 through March 11 the international exhibition “Oil & Gas Libya 2010” took place in Tripoli, Libya. The major companies engaged in exploration, production and services for oil and gas industry from many countries, such as USA, Russia, Great Britain, China, Canada, Italy, Libya participated in the exhibition. TMK was among the Russian exhibition participants.

Libya holds the largest proven oil reserves in Africa as well as considerable natural gas reserves. Oil and gas industry is a driving force of the country’s economy which is developing fast. Libya’s high potential and extensive plans for oil and gas infrastructure modernization present good opportunities for companies which manufacture products for oil and gas industry.

At the TMK booth there was presented information on a wide range of the Company’s pipe products for all stages of oil and gas production, including such high-technology products as OCTG premium threaded pipes. Specialists from TMK sales and marketing divisions, who took part in the exhibition, held a number of talks and meetings with pipe consumers that work on the Libyan market.
